Cheesy Pasta


For White Sauce
2 tblspbutter or margarine
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk

4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
salt to taste
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp ground red pepper
16 ounces rotini or penne pasta, cooked

Serves 8


1. Prepare White Sauce as per recipe.

2. Add Cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper, whisking until cheese melts.

3. Add pasta, tossing to coat.

4. Pour mixture into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.

5. Bake at 350° on center rack for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
